Fridays” coffee chats are conceived as opportunities to gather and assess current conditions—whether frightening or reassuring—in an informal yet informed manner.In the context of what's going on in the world, let’s take some time to share our understandings of big issues and brainstorm ideas for how to uphold the best values of our work. In November we'll be talking about flash fiction, or the "short short story," in preparation for our upcoming Zacher Lecture with Merve Emre on November 21st. If you'd like to read some of the works that Dr. Emre will be talking about, check out the links below to get the most out of our conversation. Pre-reading these stories is not required to attend.
