A reminder that the Future of the University working group will host its first event on Thursday September 26, 11:30 at the Humanities Institute. (Brown bag lunch.)  Roman Holowinsky, Professor of Mathematics and Chair of the STEAM Factory, will discuss “STEAM and the Future of the University.”  Roman and his conversation partner David Staley will discuss the role of the STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and interdisciplinarity in the future shape of the university.
