In 2026, the OSU Humanities Institute will launch "Humanities on Tap," a monthly series of community events presenting topics from the humanities to Central Ohio neighborhoods.
First up is J. Rawls, hip hop musician, producer, DJ and assistant professor of hip hop at the OSU School of Music.
February's event will feature Nicholas Booker, PhD student in musicology and ethnomusicology.
In March, Emma Todd, PhD student in the Department of History, will present a talk on the history of beer.
April brings the last event of the season, with Alex Sallade, associated faculty in the School of Music. Note that the April event will be held in the LevelOne barcade (130 Hutchinson Ave, Columbus, OH 43235), with the other three events held in Budd Dairy Hall.
