Announcing the launch of the Humanities Institute Makerspace! On select afternoons this academic year, 198 Hagerty Hall will be open for drop-in art-making, OR the HI MS will travel to locations around the Oval. Led by a rotating list of co-sponsors, the maker space will offer projects and materials in a variety of media, with projects reflecting the content and interests of our centers and other humanities affiliates. 

Makerspace events are free, open to everyone and welcoming to all. No registration is required- drop in and make art in your own time.

Dates and themes for SP26 are as follows:

Tuesday, February 3: Valentine cards and bookmarks with the Thompson Library Brain Break team at behind the circulation desk. Take a break from studying or stop in to make Valentine cards and other paper crafts.

Friday, February 13: Celebrate Chinese New Year by creating Spring Festival Couplets (chunlian) with the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures in 020 Page Hall

Thursday, March 5: Crepe paper flowers at the Wexner Center for the Arts.

Tuesday, March 24: The Thompson Library Brain Break Team will travel to 198 Hagerty Hall. Project TBD.

Friday, April 24: The Wexner Center for the Arts Community Studio will travel to 198 Hagerty. Project TBD.
