For four decades, gas-exposed communities in Bhopal have struggled with the devastating health and environmental impacts of the gas leak. Ahead of the anniversary, Bhopal survivors are touring the U.S. to revive global awareness of the causes and consequences of the worst industrial disaster in history. Please join an interactive conversation with the women from Bhopal who have been leading the struggle for justice and life with dignity.This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the South Asian Studies Initiative working group and the Humanities Institute.  The Humanities Institute and its related centers host a wide range of events, from intense discussions of works in progress to cutting-edge presentations from world-known scholars, artists, activists and everything in between.We value in-person engagement at our events as we strive to amplify the energy in the room.
